Taste, learn and discover the wine tastings at Nan Wijnen

For owner Sjaak, Nan Wijnen is the place where his wine journey began and where co-owner Teun played a major role. He ensured that his knowledge of wine continued to expand. That is why they organize wine tastings together to share this broad knowledge about wine with others who need it. They also like to share the knowledge that Sjaak gained when he traveled through Barolo. During this trip he visited several wineries. He learned a lot about the diversity that the different regions have to offer. He wanted to share this experience and the experiences and not just as text but in the form of a wine exclusive Barolo tasting. At the tasting the best wines that he tasted were such as the Elio Grasso Casa Mate. So for wine and a warm welcomes and tastings,  Nan Wijnen awaits!

Recommendation from them to you

One of their recommendations is the Apostelhoeve Cuvée XII, from the oldest and most renowned vineyard in the Netherlands, located on the picturesque Louwberg in Maastricht. The Apostelhoeve has been producing top-quality wines since 1970 and owes its success to its unique terroir of marl, loess and gravel. The Cuvée XII is a sophisticated blend of Müller-Thurgau, Auxerrois and Pinot Gris, with notes of peach, apricot and lime, and a fresh, mineral finish. Perfect with asparagus, fish dishes or light pasta. Enjoy this piece of Maastricht in your glass!
